Mohamed Ibrahim
Interim Chair of Board of Trustees

Having finished Bachelor Science in Public Administration and Social as well as Master Degree in Housing Policy and Social Change at London School of Economics and Political Science, I have enjoyed a career in local government for over 13 years working in the housing and regeneration departments at various local governments in United Kingdom where I was Homelessness Assessment Officer, Development Officer, Policy and Project Officers. Through this work I learnt public services and the third sector naturally have greater impact ultimately beyond structures, there are key natural forces that drive public service provision such as selflessness, compassion, integrity, dignity, sense of belonging and human well-being that is often difficult to measure but are necessary and integral goals to help build resilient sustainable societies. I was also elected a youth Chairman in London where I campaigned for the development strong equitable cohesive society. Delivering key public services, representing society for their rights at the national level on cross-cutting issues such as housing, mental health, unemployment and COVID19 recovery, influencing policy delivery and attitudes has been and is my career plans.

The Board of Trustees and EHA have embarked on a journey of development. With only four trustees at present, all governance work is conducted by the Board and there are no additional committees. As the Board grows and the number of trustees increases, the Board plans to set up a broader governance structure of committees reporting to the Board. Further information will be published on the website as the development journey progresses.
